Welcome 04172011

Accountability is an exercise in hope. When we raise academic standards, children raise their academic sights. When children are regularly tested, teachers know where and how to improve. When scores are known to parents, parents are empowered to push for change. When accountability for our schools is real, the results for our children are real.

Do you remember the above quote? Have you changed your educational practices as a result? What are you doing to measure your practices?

I firmly believe you must "Monitor Your Mission" because what gets measured - gets done. Do you have a Dashboard? (I consider this a list of indicators to display your measures how you are doing?) I suggest every school building come up with a Dashboard to display how they are accomplishing their mission. I love helping schools PLAY with their data, to determine the best indicators to put on their dashboard in order to monitor their mission. If you want to talk data, email me.
